Restoration and adaptation works to the safety regulations and scenic apparatus of the Piccinni Theater in Bari.
The Niccolò Piccinni theater was inaugurated on 4 October 1854, the day of the name day of the crown prince D. Francesco with the representation of Donizetti's "Poliuto". The Theater was subsequently named after the fellow citizen Piccinni who distinguished himself abroad in the musical field, as the Queen refused that a profane place be dedicated to her person. With the new adaptation and restoration intervention, the expansion of the stage and the scenic machinery was foreseen. With the equipment and works foreseen, the Piccinni Theater comes to have a modernly equipped stage and can be autonomous from the point of view of the staging for prose performances, ballet, etc... also in function of the stage lights.
REALIZATION
Our technical office has carried out all the executive design of the stage machine.
The following were supplied and installed: X-Theater PLV 500S electromechanical lifting units for the lighting trusses and stage trusses, X-Theater FLY 750S translatable stage trusses complete with control panels and console, mobile platform, stage lift, stage lighting system, plug-in panels, dimmer cabinets, light consoles, stage light projectors. Furthermore, the stage and hall furnishings, curtain, harlequin, wings, skies were supplied and installed.
Execution: May/December 2019 intervention for the construction of the work from design to testing and inauguration.
